Bolivia''s Roads Administrative Office (ABC) inaugurated the La Paz-Oruro highway project yesterday, the first two-way road that will link two departmental capitals in the country.
The project, which is part of the territorial integrating plans fostered by the government of President Evo Morales, entails an investment of US$246 millions, to be granted by the Andean Corporation of Promotion.
Public Works Minister Walter Delgadillo will attend the work's inauguration in La Paz.
The highway will be 203-kilometer long, and each lane will have a width of 3.5 meters, ABC General Secretary Antonio Mullisaca told the Bolivian Information Agency.
Sounds like a big project.
